ChemClear is scheduled to attend 91 local Government Host sites throughout a five-week collection run, starting today and concluding in early December. The registration period, has seen a record amount of Chemicals scheduled for collection across NSW, making it the largest NSW aggregate collection in any one run, since the program’s inception in 2003. Group 1 collection is scheduled to collect 26,814.90 lt/kg, whilst Group 2 collections consist of 22,537 lt/kg, totaling 49,351.90 lt/kg.
The NSW collection run has also seen 125 Primary Producers being partly funded by the NSW EPA to deliver their unknown and obsolete chemicals under the program, with 16 tonne of this category of chemical being delivered.
